11 OF THE BEST REALITY SHOWS TO BINGE

by Elyse V

Light, fluffy, and just enough drama to keep you interested are some of the reasons why we keep coming back to reality TV. Reality TV comes in three basic categories: 1) reality competition shows; 2) reality dating shows; and, 3) reality “documentaries.” Today’s list of 11 of the best reality shows to binge covers dating shows, and reality “documentaries” only.

We didn’t include reality competition shows because they are just different and we felt they were deserving of their own future feature spotlight. They generally require people to have a talent, or win physical/mental strength/endurance challenges, or endure living/social situations that I know I couldn’t withstand. Like we said, just different than the other categories.

No matter which category you like/prefer though, today’s choices are sure to keep you entertained and give you a little escape from your own reality. They might also make you very appreciative for the life/family/friends you have all while staying warm and cozy this winter.

I think it depends on what you want to get from the reality shows you watch. I’m pretty sure you could argue that they are all a little terrible in their own way :) I prefer competition reality shows like Survivor, Top Chef and Alone.

Which reality shows are your favourites?
