Every month I like to take stock of my (extensive-ish) beauty product inventory to recognize and appreciate a few of my current faves. I believe in showing gratitude even if it is just for that lipstick that’s the perfect shade of red. It’s generally a combination of long-time, tried-and-true products mixed with some that are new(er) to me that I’m currently loving most. I then pass along my findings because there is nothing that a beauty junkie (like myself) loves more than sharing good beauty product finds. So read on for 4 of my current favourite beauty products March 2021 edition. Who knows? You may just end up finding your next favourite product.
4 Of My Favourite Beauty Products March 2021 Edition:
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask:
I love a peel off mask, but my sensitive skin doesn’t always agree. More than once I’ve peeled a mask off only to expose red irritated skin. The Bocia Luminizing Black Mask doesn’t make my skin red and blotchy afterwards at all. This is one peel off mask that delivers; your skin looks refined, your pores are better, and your blackheads are gone. Not to mention that the thirty minutes the mask takes to dry is great me-time. Honestly, I hate cleaning the house so to motivate myself, I plan a rewarding facial with the Boscia mask afterwards. Plus, knowing the house is clean, definitely adds to the relaxation of the experience. Your house and your pores will thank you.
A proper manicure kit is something you should have. You may have most or some of the instruments, but it is nice to have everything together in a convenient (and cute) little carrying case. It’s handy when you chip a nail or have a hang nail so you don’t have go hunting for the right tool. Some of these manicure sets come with some interesting tools; mine has a metal ear scraper – which is never getting anywhere near my ear but I digress. It is nice to have every conceivable tool you may need for keeping your hands and feet neat and tidy in one place. Part of our New Year’s resolution is to take time to pamper ourselves (which we all so richly deserve) and an at-home manicure/pedicure does just that!
The Body Shop Drops of Youth™ Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask:
This Drops of Youth Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask is creamy and thick and goes on well. It goes on even better if you keep it in your beauty fridge or regular fridge. Honestly – give it a try. This mask will leave you waking up with plump, refreshed skin that makes you look like you got more or better quality sleep than you actually did! The product contains “edelweiss stem cells for younger-looking skin” and it is vegan. I also love rubbing any extra product on my hands and down my neck to help moisturize my chin and neck area. Many people forget to keep their neck properly moisturized.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2%+ B5:
I love this hyaluronic acid so much it made our Beauty Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide at Christmas. As I wrote in 4 Signs You Are Sensitive to Your Eye Cream, I have super sensitive skin but this hyaluronic acid doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I use it as part of my nighttime skin care routine, after I wash and tone, but before my moisturizer. I like to apply it where you might get laugh lines and frown lines by gently patting it all over my face when damp. Obviously you avoid the eye area. Also, The Ordinary hyluronic acid is vegan, gluten-free, and nut free.
Well that’s 4 of my current favourite beauty products for March 2021. I like to highlight a range of products when compiling these lists including varying price points because the best products are not necessarily the most expensive. I have found some great products at my local drug store. Regardless of the type or cost, I truly love sharing my experience with them with family and friends so consider yourself part of that circle.
