It’s fall and that has many of us spending more time indoors, and possibly assessing our beauty products- left from summer. Anytime you do this, you really need to re-evaluate which products are still working for you, and what you might need to replace. I try to do this monthly, so I can then share with you 5 of my current favourite beauty products – the October 2022 edition.
I love letting my friends and loyal readers know about my current beauty favourites. Considering the cost of beauty products, I truly value any and all opinions. Knowing that someone loves a product and the reasons behind it, makes a huge difference for me when deciding to purchase something new.
My 5 current favourites are a mix of products: they can be a new product, something I use all the time or something that I gave a second chance to, and have now fallen in love with.
5 Of My Current Favourite Beauty Products– October 2022 Edition
Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara – Black: I love Clinique, and it is the only brand of mascara I can wear, as I have sensitive eyes. Recently, I needed waterproof mascara, and I didn’t know if Clinique even made one. When I found this one, I was so happy. The mascara lasted amazingly well, and I could not have asked for more. Although, I needed to add more coats than I usually do with my usual High Impact™ Extreme Volume Mascara to get the volume I like. I can use the Extreme Volume brush in this mascara to get more volume faster. This is a fantastic product and one that I will be buying again because it just saved the day.
Grace and Stella – Everything is better in pink collagen-boosting eye masks:
My under-eye area has been exceedingly tight and dehydrated lately, and putting these on has helped. I was always a little skeptical about what exactly masks like this did, but these made a huge difference. Keeping them in your beauty fridge makes them even better than using them at room temperature. Nothing has helped hydrate my under eye area faster or made more of an impact during this time than these masks.
Bye Bye Under Eye® Corrector – Color-Correcting Concealer: This is more than just a concealer, it is also a treatment. “The game-changing formula instantly brightens and depuffs the look of your eye area while neutralizing and concealing the appearance of dark circles, bags, age spots, and discoloration. Super creamy and lightweight, it easily blends into your skin for flawless results that last all day! ” This is a double win, as it covers my dark circles, as well as treating them.
Kayo Body Scrubber: I received this game-changing product in my Summer FabFitFun box. The hypoallergenic bristles help to exfoliate my skin with every shower, and I feel like it lathers better than a traditional shower puff. Also, this dries fast, which makes it easy to pack for travelling. This is something everyone could use in their shower.
MAC Cosmetics SHEERTONE SHIMMER BLUSH in Peachykeen: I have had this colour in my blush rotation for over 10 years. Why? Because it is a light peach that is buildable and goes with almost any look. I particularly love it in the fall, when I build up the colour more than usual. This staple will always be a part of my makeup routine- unless MAC discontinues it.
