Happy Pride Month! As allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, we want to take a moment to celebrate the love and respect we have for our LGBTQIA+ family, friends, and the community at large. We support their rights and lift up their voices. We need to be doing this every day/month, but we should do it just a little bit louder in June. So, we are celebrating Pride Month by showing some love and support to our favourite Drag Queens’ projects.
As huge fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race, this is not the first time we have shone a spotlight on the show and/or the incredible talent of the queens. In the past we have shared a guide to drag terminology for new fans, RuPaul’s Drag Race Quotes and the Queens Who Said Them, The Best of Snatch Game, RuPaul’s Drag Race life lessons, and The Best RuPaul’s Drag Race Lip Syncs. Oh and you can also take a quiz to find out “Which All Stars 7 Drag Queen are you?”.

Trixie Mattel, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3, has a new show on Discovery+ reality where “Trixie Mattel invests her life savings to buy and renovate a rundown motel in Palm Springs.” From the photos, we’ve seen the motel is being redone using two of Trixie’s signatures: 1) a 1960’s motif; and 2) the colour pink. From the bits and pieces that Trixie has shared about the filming of the show, there will be celebrity friends making cameos, and helping with the renovation. If Trixie Motel is even half as much fun as Trixie’s Youtube Channel, then this will be well worth watching.
