I just received my Fall 2022 FabFitFun box and cannot wait to dive into all the goodies that are in it. Since being gifted the FabFitFun annual subscription for Christmas, I’ve been reviewing my seasonal boxes as I receive them (read about spring and summer boxes), and I’m so excited to be doing my first look FabFitFun box review-Fall 2022 edition.

I’ve had other subscription boxes in the past, like IPSY, Glossy, and Loose Button – so I have some experience with subscription boxes, and I have always enjoyed them. The best part was discovering new products, and getting little random presents. The downside is that I often receive products that I’d never use; as they either didn’t meet my needs, didn’t benefit me, or I was allergic to them. Luckily, I always had someone to pass them along to, so no product ever went to waste. The difference with the FabFitFun subscription box is that the products are better curated to your likes and needs. It is like a friend who knows you well-curated products for you to try.

I’m so excited to be writing this FabFitFun box review of the goodies I received in the Fall 2022 box. I haven’t had a chance to try them all yet (as I just received them) but, at first glance, I’m very pleased with this box. Not only am I familiar with some of the brands, but the products also fit my skincare needs and likes. Overall, I’m super pumped to try them all. I’m pretty sure you’ll see a few of them in future posts like my monthly current favourites list or on a gift guide.

Ok – let’s jump into my FabFitFun box review.

First thoughts..the packaging….

The colours of the box just scream Fall, as it features raspberry, green, yellow, and organge colours. The female figure on the box donning sunglasses and a scarf is the perfect nod to the change of season. Can we talk about the inside of the box? It features a leaf print that is super cute. FabFitFun knows how to represent its brand, and the brands they are partnering with. I also love the booklet that describes all the products, and coupon codes. They really make you feel like you’re unwrapping a gift. Onto the goodies…

There were so many items in this Fall box I’m going to have to break my FabFitFun box review into sections

Household Items:

TO The Market WOOL DRYER BALLS – SET OF 3: These dryer balls are “handmade by a Himalayan women’s group from a remote area in Terai, Nepal. ” They are “100% organic wool dryer balls (and) can be used up to 1000 times and are non-toxic, chemical-free, dye-free, and biodegradable.” I can’t wait to try them. I have sensitive skin, but I want all the benefits of dryer sheets- so this seems like a great solution.

Food52 Bamboo Measuring Cups & Spoons: You can never have enough measuring cups or measuring spoons- somehow you never have the size you need at the right moment. This bamboo set is as practical as it is beautiful. The neutral set of blues and greens will pair well with any kitchen aesthetic. Best of all they are “dishwasher safe, microwave safe, (and ) freezer safe.” While I love the look of them, the fact that they go into the dishwasher means I will actually use them.

Eparé Vegetable Cutter:
I love to cook- you can check out my easy gluten-free recipes here, and am always looking for ways to save time. I think this chopper will save on prep time. Their website says that the chopper “not only cuts various fruits and vegetables but also makes salads and baby food.”

BLAQ eye mask with hyaluronic acid: I suffer from dark circles, and have shared the best way to cover them and the best eye creams for dark circles. Part of the treatment for dark circles is keeping them hydrated, and eye masks can be a part of that. BLAQ says their “activated charcoal eye mask to de-puff, detox and get back to your bad-ass bright-eyed self!” I can’t wait to place these in my beauty fridge, as eye masks are always better used cold.

BLAQ Cleanse & Exfoliate AHA Wipes 25: This product sounds like a full-on skincare regimen and seems like it is a game-changing wipe. “These dual-sided wipes are infused with detoxifying charcoal, exfoliating glycolic acid and other alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that cleanse your skin and gently remove the top layer of dead skin cells – revealing brighter, more evenly textured skin. Start with the smooth side to draw out and remove surface impurities like makeup and dirt, then flip to the textured side for a deeper cleanse and exfoliation. Your skin will be living its best life in no time!” These would be perfect for when you are too tired to go through your regular routine, are short on time, or travelling, as you can carry fewer products.

Zago Italian Skincare Micellar water: Micellar water is one of my favourite products. I used micellar water to remove makeup before I cleanse and in the morning to give my skin a refresh before my morning routine/ makeup application. I can’t wait to try yet another brand of micellar water, and see how it stacks up to my favourite.

Nécessaire The Body Wash in Eucalyptus: The scent of this body wash is calming and will be a soothing addition to my shower routine. “The Body Wash is a daily multivitamin cleanser for the skin. Apply all over the body. Massage for rich foam. Rinse well.” I look forward to trying this product and seeing if it makes our list of the best body washes.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask: I love a pumpkin mask- a pumpkin sheet mask was one of my favourite things- October 2021 edition. This mask is “packed with vitamins A, K and C, pumpkin exfoliates and hydrates skin for blinding brightness.” This mask gives you the benefits of doing a mask and the fact this mask only has to stay on your skin for 10 minutes, makes me more likely to use it. I definitely will use it with the Zoë AYLA Face Mask Applicator I received in my summer FabFitFun Box, which is a game changer for mask and cream application.

Dr. Brandt Hydrating Essence: This is a “water-based skin care solution that contains a high content of active ingredients to hydrate, protect, and boost the overall health of the skin. When essence is applied to clean skin after using a cleanser and toner, it helps restore hydration to the skin cells.” A fast spray moisturizing step is always a great item to have in your arsenal. I look forward to trying this product, as I have liked the Dr. Brant skincare line- their Brandt Skincare needles no more® NO MORE BAGGAGE™ eye de-puffing gel made the list of my 5 current favourite beauty products- July 2022 edition.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m very excited by the products I’ve covered in this FabFitFun box review – the Fall 2022 edition, and cannot wait to start using them. This box certainly lives up to the quality of the Spring and summer boxes. I can’t wait to place some of the products in my kitchen where I know they will get a lot of use, and put the dryer balls in with the laundry.
Let’s not forget the skincare products, which I’m sure will become part of my everyday beauty/everyday routine.
I think that having a FabFitFun box is a great way to be able to try a host of different products, without having to spend the retail value on them. Not to mention it is also an awesome gift, as the recipient gets presents four times a year.
